Asia retreats as exporters, resource stocks fall

Japanese exporters were straining under the weight of a strong yen, while an overnight fall in commodity prices also hit the region’s resource shares.
The Nikkei Stock Average /quotes/zigman/715506 JP:NIK -1.35% fell 1.3% in Tokyo.
