Australian sharemarket feels drag of US, European debt issues

THE Australian sharemarket closed flat as uncertainty about debt issues in the US and European weighed on investors.
The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index fell 3.9 points, or 0.09 per cent, to 4468.10, while the broader All Ordinaries lost 0.5 points.
