Turkey tells Syria’s Assad: Step down!

Turkey bluntly told Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to step down for the sake of his people, tightening regional pressure on Damascus while the wider world condemned Syria’s violent crackdown on protests in a vote at the United Nations.
